Welcome to Redbud Farm and Vineyard.
Redbud Farm and Vineyard has grown so quickly we can barely keep up with all the changes in real life let alone here in cyberspace. But we are working on it!
We have just started our first batch of pasture raised chicken for 2013. The Thanksgiving turkey order has been placed – we can still add you to the list to reserve a fresh turkey for you! The pigs are getting bigger and bigger every day. We are expecting a calf in early May (a calf!!!) and have 3 calves that are growing like weeds. The laying hens are hard at work with the onset of spring – and we will have a dozen more laying hens in just a few days. The grapes have all burst their buds and are looking fantastic!
All the cabbages and broccoli are looking good, potatoes have sprouted, the tomato plants are doing fantastic!! And the beans, squashes, corn and pea beds are just about to be planted. Any day now we expect to see beet, carrot, radish and turnip sprouts pop up.
The farm is hosting it’s third concert very soon. House concerts have been such a fun thing for us. Watch here and friend us on facebook for the latest information and scheduling of concerts.
Lots of fun things going on this summer: Watch for a calendar of events, workshops, harvest days, concerts, and open farm days to just look around, help out, or just sit and enjoy the solitude of the country.
