House Concerts – FAQ

What is a house concert?

A concert in our home!  We typically have about 40 people gathered in our living room listening to songs and stories from amazing touring artists.  These unique, intimate, listening room experiences create long lasting memories for both the audience and the artists.

Can we bring guests?

Once you have been to a house concert or two, you start to think, “You know who would love this, ________!!”  We all love sharing experiences!  Keep in mind this is a private event so please let us know if you are bringing friends so we have an idea as to who will be in our home.  Also, help them understand what to expect at a house concert.

Is there food available?

We have been doing Pot Luck at our shows and, so far, it’s worked out pretty well!  We provide table ware, tea and water, as well as prepare a dish ourselves to contribute.  Bring your favorite snack or dish to share!

Do you serve alcohol?

We do not.  Although we are a vineyard, we are not a winery. If you would like to have a glass of wine or other adult beverage during the show, you are welcome to BYOB.  Please drink responsibly.

Are the concerts indoors?

All our ‘house concert’ shows are planned for indoors.  If we do an outdoor event, it will be advertised specifically that way.

How much are tickets?

Because this is a private event and we (the farm) are not making any money with these concerts, we ask for a donation that goes directly to the artist.  The suggested donation is typically $15 per person (more if you can, less if you can’t).

Do you sell tickets in advance?

Again, we are not really selling tickets, but if you would like to reserve a spot in case of a sellout and make your donation early, contact us and we can easily work something out!

Why do you host house concerts?

We are a venue that is providing artists an opportunity to share their music to a listening audience in an intimate setting. This is not a ‘party’.  We are not a bar.  We would love to share these amazing musical experiences with you! All we ask is that you make a donation to the artist, as well as be respectful to the artist, to our other guests, and to our home. Please feel free to contact us if you have any other questions!

    • Sadly we don’t have our next house concert scheduled. It is an amazing experience to have an artist play for your friends, family and commmunity in an intimate comfortable setting.
